About Me

Hi, I’m Erin, a product and UX/UI designer based in Colorado.

People have called me a unicorn, but I don’t believe in magic — I just love what I do. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve worked across research, strategy, and design, building products and digital experiences that make sense for the people using them and the businesses behind them.

From mobile apps and consumer and enterprise websites to dashboards and scalable design systems, I design beyond the screen. I’ve worked across retail, financial services, healthcare, the public sector, and more — prioritizing accessibility and thoughtful innovation.

Continuous learning is part of the job and part of who I am. I hold a Master’s degree in Strategic Communications Design with a focus on UX and Brand Strategy and recently completed Stanford Online’s UI/UX Design for AI Products certification. I’m usually reading at least two books at once — organized by color, because the UI side of my brain won.

When I’m not designing or deep into a book, I’m working toward my goal of running a half marathon in every state. The rest of the time, I’m happily outnumbered by my three very energetic dogs.

My Design Philosophy

Stop, Collaborate and Listen

Every strong product begins with listening — to users, to developers, to stakeholders, and to what the business truly needs. Design thrives in collaboration, where different perspectives sharpen the solution.

Ready or Not

AI and emerging technologies aren’t a distant future — they’re here. I approach new tools with curiosity, optimism, and responsibility. I believe thoughtful experimentation today shapes smarter, more human products tomorrow.

All the Small Things

Accessibility isn’t an afterthought. The smallest details — contrast ratios, interaction states, microcopy, edge cases — define whether a product truly works for everyone. Inclusive design lives in the details.
